This is the same email address you used to sign your energy contract or receive your energy bills.

Why specifically this email address?

As soon as you add your meter to the app, we automatically check if the email address you use for the app matches the email address known to your energy supplier.

If they don't match, we'll send an email to the email address known to the energy supplier for additional validation.
