What is a permission for automatic meter reading, and why should I give it?

   Your smart meter records your electricity consumption. The My Sibelga app uses this data to give you better insights. This also allows you to benefit from other services offered by your energy supplier.

However, to access this data remotely, Sibelga needs your authorization.

Please note:

• This authorization applies per EAN (i.e., per meter) and can be revoked by you at any time. You will receive a notification for renewal.
• Your permission automatically expires if you move.
• By enabling remote reading, your consumption data is automatically transmitted to your energy supplier. This legal change requires no action on your part, but ensures your supplier always has up-to-date data for billing and monitoring.
